“A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent.” —Douglas MacArthur

I remember how when children are little, grown ups will ask them what they want to be when they grow up. As far as I know, no one has ever said I want to be a manager or I want to be a leader. Some children want to be the President.

Leaders are all around us. They may not have the title, yet they shine through as leaders. We can learn so much from observing the leaders around us; from the calm manner of some to the radiance of caring from others.

What do you think?

Have a fabulous Friday.
