Positive Quote: “When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

How do you know when you have come to the end of your rope? How do you know you even brought your rope with you?

I’ve heard the saying over and over again about giving someone enough rope to hang themselves. I have found that saying pretty negative. I prefer this quote over that one because it is more constructive. What could be better than being able to have an impact on what life has thrown your way? Being able to tie a knot and holding on is much better to me than hanging from a rope.

Hopefully, as we hang on to the knot in our rope we know that we have friends, family, mentors, and others who will come by and help us. They will give us encouragement and may at times put us on the shoulders so we can let go of the rope without getting hurt. No one can accomplish things alone. It takes others to help us along the way.

What does this quote say to you?

Have a great Monday as we start to see the fall weather emerging. I know here in St. Louis, it was in the mid-50’s this morning with a high in the mid-70’s this afternoon.
