Finding Remedies and Not Faults

Positive Quote: “Don’t find fault, find a remedy.” – Henry Ford

This quote reminds me that it is too easy to get caught up in the blame game and the fault finding. Instead one should locate the error or issue and look to find a remedy or a solution.

One of the things I like as a manager, is when someone on my team not only points out a flaw or concern, yet has several potential solutions. It makes the remediation that much smoother, not necessarily easier, yet smoother.

I work to be someone who brings forward solutions and ways to improve to keep ahead of the curve versus being swept away with issues and problems.

What do you think of this quote?

Have a marvelous Tuesday.
