“Set me a task in which I can put something of my very self, and it is a task no longer; it is joy; it is art.” – Bliss Carman

Positive Quote: “Set me a task in which I can put something of my very self, and it is a task no longer; it is joy; it is art.” – Bliss Carman

Have you ever come across work, be it a written document, proposal, or even the end result of a task… and you knew, you knew the person who had a hand in the creation based on several factors. To me, this is what this quote is also inferring, when a person takes a task and breathes life into it, so much so that it is obvious who did it and it can become something good to behold. In a work environment, these are the things that become a ‘here is what good looks like’ opportunity.

We each have characteristics unique to each of us in terms of writing, delivery, or even in how we tackle a task or project. It is like we put a piece of ourselves into each work effort, or at least we should to a large extent.

One of the best feelings is when you can look back on something with pride and say to yourself that you had a part in completing, creating, or updating something.

What do you think of this quote?

Have a fantastic Friday.
